Neuro cardiology is the specialty that deals with the brain-heart connection. Neuro cardiology is the study of neurophysiological, neuroanatomical, and neurological aspects of cardiology. Neuro cardiology is also referred to as the pathophysiology of circulatory and nervous systems. A clear understanding of the baroreflex sensitivity and heart rate variability is required to understand the influence of autonomic nervous system on both heart and brain activity.
